WHAT DOES COSMECEUTICAL MEAN?
Cosmeceutical skincare sits between basic cosmetic skincare and pharmaceutical products.
Rather than simply moisturising or improving the surface feel of the skin, cosmeceutical formulations use active ingredients selected at effective concentrations to target specific skin concerns and support visible improvements in the skin.
LA CLINICA formulations use active ingredients including peptides, antioxidants, vitamins, botanical extracts, alpha and beta hydroxy acids and other targeted actives across the range.

NAIL care + Tips
As a qualified nail technician, I work with a range of professional nail systems including acrylic, gel and CND SHELLAC® — commonly referred to as gel polish.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR NAILS
- Use cuticle oil regularly to keep the nail and surrounding skin conditioned.
- Don’t pick or peel gel polish, Shellac or nail enhancements — this can remove layers of the natural nail and cause thinning or damage.
- Don’t use your nails as tools to open, lift or scrape.
- If your nails lift, crack or break, have them professionally repaired rather than gluing or picking.
TIP: Healthy natural nails depend as much on correct application, maintenance and removal as they do on the product being used.

Beauty Tips by Sandra uses Tuscan Tan professional spray tanning products.
Tuscan Tan Rapid MultiBase® technology combines violet, green, red and blue colour bases to counterbalance different skin undertones.
Tan depth is controlled by development time:
1 hour — Light
2 hours — Medium
3 hours — Dark
4+ hours / overnight — Ultra Dark
Your recommended rinse time will be advised at your appointment.
Spray Tan Preparation
For the most even result:
- Exfoliate and remove old tan before your appointment.
- Pay extra attention to dry areas including elbows, knees, ankles and heels.
- Complete waxing or shaving before your spray tan.
- Arrive with clean, dry skin.
- Do not apply moisturiser, body oil, deodorant or perfume immediately before your appointment.
- Wear loose, dark clothing and loose/open footwear afterwards.
After your Spray Tan
While your tan is developing:
- Keep your skin dry.
- Avoid showering, swimming and exercise.
- Avoid moisturiser, deodorant and perfume.
- Avoid tight clothing that may rub the developing tan.
FIRST RINSE
- Rinse at the development time advised.
- For your first rinse, use water only — no body wash.
- The cosmetic colour guide will wash away during this shower. Your tan will continue to develop after rinsing.
- Pat your skin dry rather than rubbing.
MAINTAINING YOUR TAN
Once your tan has developed:
- Moisturise regularly.
- Avoid aggressive exfoliation.
- Avoid prolonged hot showers where possible.
- Pat rather than vigorously rub the skin dry.
- Before your next spray tan, exfoliate thoroughly and remove remaining old tan.
IMPORTANT
A spray tan does not provide sun protection.
Continue to use appropriate SPF and sun protection when exposed to UV radiation.

Brow Shaping

Your brows are shaped to work with your existing growth and facial features rather than following a standard brow shape.

Brow Henna
Using Le Marque professional Brow Henna, this treatment colours the brow hairs while also temporarily staining the skin beneath, creating greater definition and the appearance of fuller, more even brows.
